A driver and passenger fled after an Audi smashed into a terrace home in a late night hit-and-run.
Shortly after 7pm on Friday, September 13, police were called to reports of a car driving into a property on Daventry Avenue in Stockton. The house was unoccupied at the time of the crash and two men are believed to have fled the vehicle prior to police arrival.
The car has caused extensive damage to the brickwork surrounding the door of the home. Two police vehicles were stationed on the road following the incident.
Police have now launched an investigation into the incident. Anyone with information, CCTV or dash cam footage is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101 quoting reference number 176893.
It is understood the cordon remains at the scene on Saturday morning.
